What Is Our Vision?
The Dual Threat Sports Clinic is a multi-sport clinic designed for anyone who is interested in learning and improving the fundamentals of football and basketball in a fun environment. Dual Threat Sports allows campers to develop their skills with instructional drills and competitive stations. The campers will compete in a variety of contests and games throughout the week.
The clinic hopes to instill the desire it takes to become a successful basketball and football player.
About The Clinic
Campers will be placed on a team based on age and/or ability level. They will compete in daily games and contests. They will receive individual basketball and flag football instruction each day, and they are going to be involved in instructional stations each day. All campers will receive a camp t-shirt.
Daily Camp Structure:
8:45 – Camper drop off
9:00-9:10 – warm-up activities
9:10-10:30 – Basketball drills, contests & games
10:30-10:40 – Water break and switch
10:40-12:00 – Football drills, contests & games
12:00 – Camper pick up
Please bring basketball sneakers and cleats for flag football on the turf fields.
The clinic is held @ Lyman Hall High School - Wallingford & Wolcott High School.

Mike Forgione
Newington High School Head Girls Basketball Coach
Mike has been a head varsity high school girls basketball coach for 20 seasons. He has over 285 wins at Southington, Farmington and is the current head coach at Newington High School. Mike also coached women's college basketball for 3 years at Becker College. During his high school career, he has coached 14 players who played NCAA college basketball.
Mike was an all-state football player at Southington High School and went on to play college football at Sacred Heart University.
He was the head girls track & field coach @ Bristol Central HS for 21 seasons where the program won a record 11 conference championships.
Mike has been a Physical Education teacher @ Wolcott HS for 24 years and currently serves as an assistant girls soccer & track & field coach.
CJ Monroe
Lyman Hall High School Head Football Coach
CJ has been the head varsity football coach at Lyman Hall High School for the past 4 seasons. He will be entering his 5th season this Fall.
Lyman Hall is coming off of a 7-3 season which is the most wins since 2010.
Previously, he was an offensive coordinator at Newington High School for five seasons (2016-2021). He coached 9 all-state players from 3 different schools and 22 players who played NCAA college football.
He previously taught high school physical education and health in Meriden. He graduated Wolcott High School in 2011.
